some more about my story

In 2005 I co-founded Litmus with two of my oldest friends, Paul Farnell & Matt Brindley. We had modest ambitions and simply wanted to build a business that was somewhere we ourselves would like to work.

The story of Litmus can be told another day, but suffice to say that the company enjoyed a lot of success, in 2015 we attracted the attention of our growth equity partners at Spectrum Equity and the company was able to move to the next phase of its life.

In April 2025 Litmus was bought by Validity, bringing a 20 year journey with the company to a successful outcome.

In recent years I have completed an MBA at Manchester University, consulted with local businesses, mentored startups, learned to fly and spent time on my photography.

I spend time in Amsterdam in the Netherlands and live in Harrogate in the UK.
