Amazon UK decides to stop shipping things to Ireland

Michele has spotted changes to the Amazon UK terms and conditions that prevent shipping of certain items to Ireland.

They still ship to Northern Ireland and other retailers such as Play.com and even Amazon.com are still shipping to Ireland. Seems a strange turn of events.

    What really gets me is that their customer support keeps saying it’s a technical issue!

    I sat here and tried to think of an appropriate joke of how this could be manifested as a technical issue.

    I think it speaks volumes that I couldn’t think of anything.
